<b><u>Several Tips that'll Improve Your Shooting.</u></b>

<b>1. Keep your head up at all times.</b>
<P>
This allows you to focus on the rim as long as possible becuase it increases your depth proception. The
longer you look at your target, the more accurate your shot will be. Find the target early and keep your
eyes on it.

<b>2. Stay balanced.</b>
<P>
Balance is important because it allows you to gauge your release and increase accuracy. Feet should be
shoulder-width apart, knees should be sligtly bent, while feet are pointed towards the basket.
<P>
<b>3.Pay attention to your grip.</b>
<P>
Having correct grips ensures that you have balance with the ball within your hands securing an online
release. Fingers shoould be spread apart and the basketball should be only in your shooting hand making
your opposite hand your guide hand. The should be siting on your finger pads and make sure there is a
little space between your palm and ball to add more control.
<P>
<b>4. Release timing is very important.</b>
<P>
Although many people have different releases and forms, to maximize the chances of your ball getting to
the rim despite strength, release the basketball at slightly before the peak of your jump. Your legs
generate upforce for your ball by jumping. Hint the name jumpshot.

<b>5. The follow through ensures where your ball is going.</b>
<P>
A great follow through consists of relaxed wrists where fingers are pointed to the target. To ensure
you're aiming correctly your fingers should finish at the top of the backboard and it is essential to
hold this position until the ball is in the basket making sure you are consistent everytime.

When you hear shooting mechanics you should think of the acronym B.E.E.F.

<b>B</b>alance:Balance is an essential aspect of scoring for any type of shot, providing you with a
foundation as you extend your legs in preparation for throwing the ball.

<b>E</b>yes on the target: Basketball players have to maintain focus.
<P>
<b>E</b>lbows aligned: The position of your arms provides a foundation for the entire shot, affecting
the strength of the wrists and hands right before the ball is released.

<b>F</b>ollow through:A player's hands guide the shot and influence the trajectory of the basketball.
