For more information visit them at who.int. </H4> <HR> <H2> What is Covid-19? </H2> Covid-19, also known as coronavirus, is a highly infections respriratory virus similar to the common cold with high severity in symptoms. <H2> What are the symptoms? </H2> Some symtpoms of Covid-19 include but are not limited to pain, nasal congestion, sore throat, diarrhea, dry coughess, and fever. The severity of these symptoms can vary from person to person. <H2> Lasting Effects of Covid-19 </H2> There are still studies being conducted to determine these; however, some patients infected may experience severe damage to the respiratory system, increased severity of other underlying health issues, and in some cases death. <H2> How does it spread? </H2> Covid-19 is a highly infectious virus that spreads via ater droplets from an infected individual. These water droplets can travel through the air and onto surfaces from actions such as sneezing. Breathing in affected air or contact with an affected surface can transmit the virus into a healthy individual. Furthermore, some individuals can spread the virus without displaying only mild or no symptoms. Lastly, many of those who havebeen infected have shown a lack of immunity to the virus after recovering, allowing it to spread again, <H2> How to avoid spreading/catching the virus? </H2> Social Distancing and self quarantine are the most effective ways to supress the spread of Covid-19. Attempt to stay 6feet apart from any individual that does not reside within your home and limit time outside to essentials, maintaining that distance. <H2> Is there a cure? </H2> Currently, there is no cure or vaccine for Covid-19. There are numerous organizations working on attempting to synthesize a vaccine, and you can find links to some of these groups in the organizations section. If infected, one should attempt to self isolate and get a large amount of rest for their body to naturally fight the virus. </CENTER>
