The Red Fire ant is known as the Solenopsis invicta. This ant originates from South America. They are most commonly found in the United States in
southern areas.
These ants are known as invasive because of how aggressive and how fast they multiply. These ants are extremely aggressive to other ants and other insects that
share the same food sources. They will take over the food sources with their aggressive nature and this then enables them to breed and multiply much faster. They
also have a large impact on the agriculture in an area as well.
