Problem Statement
Smaller-scale soccer clubs often lack the necessary resources for proper player analysis, unlike professional teams that have advanced tools and dedicated staff. socStat aims to bridge this gap by enabling personalized analysis through simple statistical inputs, fostering the growth of the world's beloved game across all levels.
Significance
With a constantly growing market of soccer players and money being invested into the game around the world, there have been constant advancements on the statistical side of the game. This application provides coaches a fast and effective way to analyze the performances of their players in terms of positional efficiency.
Positional Efficiency
socStat calculates a player's efficiency based on metrics that are tailored to their position. For example, goals and assists hold more value for attacking players while conceding less goals boosts a defender's efficiency.
